Happy Thanksgiving

By far my favorite holiday today. You don't ever have any uncomfortability surrounding wishing people a Happy Thanksgiving. It's entirely innoculus and inoffensive. In a lot of ways, this holiday makes me more proud to be an American than July 4th does. This is a holiday about celebrating our families and our freedom. We take a break from our lives because we choose to be with the ones we love. I worked on July 4th last year. To me, working on Thanksgiving would be a non-negotiable

Me, I'm cooking the dinner tonight. Bird is already in the oven. Still have a lot to do though. My mom is already yelling at me about cleaning the kitchen. Football and beer will start as soon as I finish my Wharton essays.
